12 young people between 13 and 16 took part in the final held at The Brasserie Restaurant, The College, Bournemouth on Friday 9th January 2009.
The Senior judge, Tony Taylor, lecturer chef at The College commented on the high standard of the 2 course meals prepared by all the candidates.
In a close encounter The Winner was Rachel Pugh of Lytchett Minster School and the Runner Up Bonnie Ha from Glenmoor School.
Both Rachel and Bonnie now progress to the District Final at Eastleigh on February 7th.
