The Club has donated £500 to Fernheath Play Association, West Howe. The Association operates play schemes where children, whatever their disadvantages or disabilities and irrespective of their race, gender, culture or religion, can play creatively and safely during out of school hours. There are two large play rooms with ramped access, a sensory room and a large outdoor play area with wheelchair swing and various items of play equipment.
The association relies heavily on financial support and President Talbot said: "It is encouraging to see the enthusiasm of the members of staff who run this much-needed facility".
