Club donates £11,600 to Heathlands Primary School

The Rotary Club of Bournemouth recently donated £11,600 to Heathlands Primary School, with the money being used to provide new fencing for the school playground and also to support an unusual sculpture project.

The sculpture, completed by the children themselves, included a variety of creations revolving electronically at different speeds.

The photo shows President-Elect Ian Burton (far right) with fellow Rotarians, the Head Teacher and children of the school in front of the finished sculpture.
